The AK receiver is made from stamped steel, and is riveted for added durability. Internally the rifle features a reinforced 8mm TM compatible version 3 gearbox with a quick change locking spring guide; this ensures compatibility with the great majority of aftermarket parts as well as allowing easy spring changes without disassembly of the gearbox itself. The rifles come from the factory with neodymium magnet motors and a pre-installed MOSFET for improved performance and longevity out of the box.
